Deanne is a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia and aims to maintain a high level of knowledge in the area of paediatric speech pathology. This involves meeting yearly professional development standards which are set by our professional association. She has training in numerous evidence based programs including the Lidcombe Program for stuttering, Hanen 'It Takes Two to Talk' program.
Deanne's aim is to provide a professional speech pathology service and her goal is to give children the opportunity to learn in a fun and encouraging environment. She has a family centred approach, which is an important foundations for childhood intervention. She aims to help parents and carers develop skills to enhance their child's communication development. Deanne gathers therapy materials from Australia and overseas so that intervention can be tailored to each child's individual needs.
